I am a physical theatre artist. I think with my body and explore with it the images that arrive to me. With my body, I also mean my voice. The images that compel me are always linked to an urgency that comes from within, sometimes they arrive like a wave that is difficult to stop, and other times I have to sit still and listen.
Lately, thanks to the rural residency Ascolti di Terra/Listenings of the Earth (Italy, Tuscania, June 2023) organized by the cultural association Ker and the Organic Coop Teveriva, a new image arrived. It’s a bird that understands the end of its life in a nest and becomes an adult. In this case, it does not transform into an eagle or an owl, but into a woman or a dancing tree. It is this poetry in movement that I would like to share with you, in this ritual that helps me embrace the inevitable transformation of everything.
